Reading and Spelling Program
Master
The Code is a complete reading and spelling program used
after or during PACE to ensure accurate and rapid decoding
skills. Using the most current research on teaching reading,
MTC progresses from three letter words to multi-syllable
words using both real and nonsense words. Similar to Phonographix
and Orton Gillingham, it focuses on phonemic awareness,
visual memory and decoding skills, but includes the concept
of rapid naming to ensure mastery. Improvements depend
upon age and time spent. If worked on intensively, you
can expect improvements from one to five years within
a three month period.
